Executive Director’s Report: We reviewed a NF coronavirus statement to be published and proposed changes to NF staffing (promotions and hires).

Discussion Items:

a. Potential Conflict of Interest (CoI)

 i.  Sylvain provided a disclosure statement of a potential CoI connected to a possible contract between Zarr and Quantstack.
 
ii.  After discussion, the Board proposed to vote to 
		
        a.  Acknowledge the disclosure,
        b.  Take no further action needed, 
        c.  Handle potential CoIs involving CoI and Sylvain as needed, 
            if contract is awarded to Quantstack
		
This vote will be handled online, as we did not have quorum during the meeting (excluding Sylvain's vote).

b. COVID-19 and Upcoming Events

i.  PyData Miami - Apr 23: canceled (potentially to be moved/rescheduled)

ii. PyData London - May 15: potentially moving event date

iii. PyData Amsterdam - Jun 12

c. AWS Server Credits $25k - this has been announced to the community and our projects. Andy is working on creating policy for distribution of credits to our projects.

d. New Projects - 5 Still pending:

  i.  Drugverse: Rejected (0/4/0)

 ii.  Solcore: Accepted (4/0/0)

iii.  Devito: Accepted per online vote (5/0/0)

This is a Bloomberg project interested in becoming more open and 
possibly joining NF. They would need to make various changes to meet 
openness and kindness eligibility criteria before applying.

f. Moving our 2-hour strategic planning meeting to the 24th instead of April 21st?

g. Proposal for promoting Walker to Comms/Marketing, and hiring intern into events coord. position → Approved (4/0/0).
