Discussion Items:

JupyterCon 2023
a. JupyterCon ran a deficit
b. New venue expenses came in at the last minute
c. Ticket sales were 50% lower than our lowest expectations
d. Ongoing discussion with Jupyter about how these costs will be absorbed
e. Originally budgeted $20k in profit
Summit
a. Reimbursement requests should be submitted via Open Collective
b. Please let me know if your employer or company covers your travel expenses. We can list them as a travel sponsor.

New Proposed CoC and Reporting & Enforcement Procedures

a. Modeled after the PSF's new CoC

i.  Enforcement and Reporting will be managed by an external
    committee of community members who are familiar with OSS
    communities and have completed CoC enforcement training

b. Project input:

i.  A survey will be sent in the next two weeks to all projects

ii. CoC BoF at SciPy

e. Communications and Marketing Manager: Carolyn Rodon was let go 6/27
f. Lisa Martin will move from full-time Financial Admin (Contracts) to part-time Project Promotions
g. Lynn Brubaker will move from Finance Manager to Executive Assistant
